This overgrown hedging is blocking the footpath making pedestrians and people waiting for the bus to stand and walk on the grass verge

By the bus stop the hedge has grown so much that people waiting for bus or using footpath have to wait/walk on the grass verge. Totally unacceptable. Even if they do cut back the hedge will still take up half of the footpath as they won’t cut it right back

It appears that WNC are doing nothing to sort this problem out, the same applies to other report where two trees are overhanging the road and bus stop. Bus passengers have to walk through overhanging branches and the bus hits overhanging branches when stopping sometimes falling on waiting bus users. Both are h&s issues

Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Another letter has been sent to cut back the vegetation and a further site visit will be carried out after 14 days.

The hedging has now been cut back making it better but still 18” of hedging overhanging the footpath. Also trees have not been cut back meaning when the bus stops branches fall on waiting passengers also passengers have to walk through branches of willow tree to get onto the bus
