Town Lane, just up from the corner of smith lane
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7658445.
Pothole was reported last year and ignored as working fine. It is totally blocked now and water is unable to go down it so it backs up and floods down the road to the next drain which was blocked with shrubs. I cleared that one but can’t clear this one.
Needs looking at ASAP.

We have arranged for jetting work to be carried out. At this present time, we are unable to indicate a timescale for these works, until the necessary funding and resource becomes available.

A job has been raised and scheduled to be carried out by Cheshire East Highways following the enquiry you logged.
We’ll provide a further update once the work is completed. While we make every effort to keep to the programme, dates can change due to unforeseen factors, such as weather and budget availability. -
The investigation we have done so far has identified that we need to carry out more work to either better understand or resolve this problem. We have added this location to our drainage improvement programme list. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale of works as they will be prioritised based on risk and available budget. Changes might need to be made if we need to prioritise other works due to emergencies or weather events.
