Caravan Abandoned for Months — Now Possibly Occupied + Surrounded by Waste

This black caravan has been parked here for several months, and I’ve reported it multiple times previously with no meaningful action taken. It was abandoned, and now it appears someone may be living inside it, which is not only unsafe but potentially illegal.

Since my last report, the situation has deteriorated badly: • The caravan remains in the same location and still appears unroadworthy • Someone seems to be using it as a residence • The surrounding area is now covered in fly-tipped waste, including: • A stripped mattress • Broken wooden planks and building debris • A tyre, a plant pot, and other rubbish • The grass is overgrown, and the whole area is becoming an eyesore

It’s parked right next to a public bin with the slogan “People Make Glasgow Cleaner” — but this is seriously undermining that message. It’s embarrassing for the neighbourhood and a real public health concern.

I am requesting the council: • Investigate who owns or is using the caravan • Determine whether it’s being illegally inhabited • Remove the caravan and all associated dumped waste • Follow up with enforcement if necessary

This has gone on far too long with no resolution. Please take urgent action.
