No entry signs damaged
Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 15:18, Tuesday 3 June 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7656911.
For the last 2 weeks or so the No Entry signs at the junction of Kingsley Road and Zetland Road no longer face onto Zetland Road. This has caused a noticeable increase in the number of vehicles travelling in the wrong direction along Kingsley Road between Zetland Road and Cotham Brow.

No Entry signs facing the wrong way. I couldn't see them from Zetland Road as I was driving towardsRedland Grove.

Nearly run over as I crossed here as the No entry signs are not facing the road as above and van had no problem driving in to the road the wrong way, even when pointed out to him.

Still an issue. Last weekend we had a street party. We were provided with ‘Road closed’ signs for the Cotham Brow end of the road but as Kingsley Road is a one way street we had nothing for the Zetland Road end. Children were playing in the road and tables were laid out. Several cars tried to drive the wrong way down the road so we had to improvise with a cone and dustbins to block the road to stop our children being run over! It is a real problem.

This issue is causing significant risk to pedestrians and cyclists - I left my house today and when I crossed the street there was a car travelling at significant speed the wrong way down the street. I think the increase in vehicles travelling the wrong way down the street could be linked to the new restrictions on Redlands road. Please complete this repair, and consider additional signage given the new restrictions on Redlands road.
