Sequence of sharp, shallow holes in road level

Long section of damaged, rough surface and shallow potholes. Site of previous repairs and patches which have gradually broken up again. The damage is hard to see in the shadow of the trees. One part was sharp enough to puncture the front tyre of my bicycle. (Pinch flat.)
