Manhole cover noisy again

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7646037.

Thanks for the quick fix applied by your contractor a few weeks ago. However, it has failed yet again. As I stated on the last report there appears to be a more structural problem which needs to be resolved. We are still experiencing the noise from it all day and all night. Please can you arrange to have it repaired properly this time.

  • Resident has called in as the manhole cover is outside 31 Shepperton Road, near to the pavement ,the manhole is sinking again, resident has called in as this is an ongoing issue for the manhole , it gets fixed sinks more maintaince and sinks, would this be able to be investigate and repaired as this has been ongoing for approximatly for 2 years.

  • Resident reports this is still outstanding and the wall is cracking in the property at number 29. Resident reports this is a danger to bikes and cars and this was first reported 2023. Please can resident be contacted with a date the works will be carried out

  • Thanks. Well, someone has patched the gap with tarmac but I can't see this lasting for long at all. Please can you ask them to solve the problem. This has been ongoing for far too long...
