Despite past complaints little done
Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7644604.
Local Councillor involved and having checked with officers, said unlikely the road will be resurfaced until 2027. By that time of course we may be part of a much bigger authority so go down the bottom of the list again. They have been repairing many potholes in this road for the past 11 years to my knowledge. It would have been cheaper to do a proper job on it. It is a short stretch of road but a disgrace.

Within hours of my latest complaint to you the Council was in touch with me so great service thank you. The result, "Your road is on the list for resurfacing". Great news but no date or even year.

More potholes patched but just slap some stuff in the hole and roller it down, they pop out again when winter comes. Told no money to re-surface until 2027. By then won't we be part of a much larger Council so put further down the list? There is a Nursing home at the end of the road and a fifty flat retirement complex. Being driven over this road jolts your body and plays hell with the suspension. No fun for anyone in an Ambulance which regularly use the road.

More holes filled, problem not solved.

The Council obviously have no intention of fixing the problem properly any day soon. If they had re-surfaced some years ago or even now they would have saved more than constant hole filling. Firework displays and pretty lights appear to be more important than decent roads. I know we are not alone in this.

The hole filling goes on, they are not even filled level but protruding so the ride on our street is very very bumpy.
