Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 47 days.

Someone has visited this site and repaired the tiniest patch of tarmac which has not alleviated the issues with the long failed gully and holes in road either in Victoria street or just prior to turning in on church lane. This cannot be a full repair and if so WNC need to take a look at what the highways contract is actually achieving and who is monitoring the repairs carried out. If this is not a full repair, where is the economic sense to make more than one visit to one site!!
