Investigating
Parking hazard
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 09:52, Sat 31 May 2025
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7641759.
On the A39 through the village sometimes as many as 4 cars are parked on the bend. There is always one car parked there making the bend completely blind as you travel towards Bath. I believe that the highway code states that parking on a bend is an offence as it poses a hazard and is a safety offence. Certainly this is the case in this situation as it is hazardous to all road users. Please can double yellow lines be extended to this point to prevent this happening. Thank you.
