Hedges obscuring road

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 16:00, Fri 30 May 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7639638.

The vegetation and hedges along the left side of Wadards Meadow as you come into the estate just before no. 5 has not been touched for over 3 years and it is now going across the path and it is obscuring the road. When you drive into the estate you can not see if oncoming traffic is coming up the road. It used to be maintained by Cottesway Housing but was taken off their list to do 3 years ago. It really does need sorting out asap

  • Does this piece of hedge not belong to wodc ? If not perhaps you can tell me who is responsible. It's not Cottesway Housing as I have asked. It really does need cutting back.

  • Still not been addressed how difficult is it to just cut a strip of hedging?. First reported end of may , are the council just waiting for an accident? It doesn't help due to the parked vehicles on the bend outside 5 Wadards Meadow.
