Footpaths significantly overgrown

Reported via Android in the Rights of way category anonymously at 21:20, Thu 29 May 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7635449.

Paths 8b and 9b no longer allow pushchairs bikes or dog walkers to pass due to the overgrown hedges and this is particularly noticeable during the school run. Please can you arrange for them to be cut back

Updates

  • Footpath is getting worse and causes a danger when dog walkers do not have sufficient space to pass safely. Path has not been cut back this year and needs urgent attention

  • Still no attempt by anyone to cut back the overgrowth 1 month since being reported and getting worse every day, footpath remains too narrow to safely pass especially peak periods with dogs, prams etc
