Overgrown trees making alleyway dark. Broken tree at front of house
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7635200.
Trees overgrown and hanging over my garden. Touching side windows restricting view. Scrapping on my side window. I am unable to open it. Blocking street lights making the alley pitch black. The broken tree out the front is an eyesore. Restricts sunlight and makes it hard when the grass is cut. These trees are never pruned or maintained.

Hi - we live in Number 2 and have attached title deeds which we hope help resolve this, you can see our property boundary runs in a straight line from the fences along the verge, however the line of fences stops short of the offending vegetation. We would also make reference to google map street view images from 2009 where you can see what appears to be the council maintained verge vs the hedgerow belonging to 2 Brackenborough. We would welcome any further clarification about the boundary from the council so we can understand which trees are ours to manage and which aren't. This is not the first time we have requested this.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.

Please can we have an update on this repair and a contact number provided for correspondence. The alley way is now extremely dark as the trees are blocking all street lighting. I have members of the public knocking my door regarding this issue.
