MArsh Lane, near to Brook Farm heading towards Nantwich

Reported via desktop in the Conditions of Signs category anonymously at 20:54, Wed 28 May 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7630374.

There used to be a blue rectangular weight restriction sign here, warning of the weak canal bridge ahead over the Shropshire Union Canal. Over years this sign has deteriorated to become hardly visible and recently, the sign has now disappeared altogether - presumably removed by someone. Picture shows what it did look like prior to disappearing altogether.

Please can you arrange for a replacement to be put back in place here else there is a risk that the bridge could become damaged by too large a vehicle, thank you
