All A814 signs (speed and directional) should, of course, be checked during the alleged 12 routine checks per year. They clearly aren't - many of the signs are filthy and barely legible.
Given there are also 3 'deep cleans' a year - allegedly - there is ample opportunity and no excuse for not carrying out this basic maintenance work.
