Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7628097.
Main uppingham road from Humberstone park into town is a disgrace and is severely affecting my mental health. Dirt, traffic, bad parking, illegal parking, at least 20 takeaways. Scruffy shop fronts and signs, groups of men hanging around. Absolute disgrace. I think I now live in a third world courntry. No Civic pride. No more takeaways or barbers. Traffic wardens targeting the right vehicles. No parking in bus lanes. I care about where I live. Council, take action. Its getting worse!!!!

Some of the issues cannot be fixed as the takeawaya are already there. Men hanging around street corners and a park should be moved on. Each shop should be looking after there own shop frontage.. maybe an extra bin collection, especially the side streets. Cameras on the bus lanes. More fines to help keep the streets clean.

It has improved but until people care about where they live it will never improve. Each shop should be responsible for their frontage and residents should be fined. Give the men standing around on corners a litter picker and black bag. Make themselves useful
