Flytipping and heavy litter

You have to go back to 2008 to see an AMK van-free, thus litter & flytipping-free southern pavement stretch of South St (as shown),

The reality? AMK do not have a dedicated depot for their now massively expanded fleet of vehicles. Ergo, they are left on the street. Thus when their clients return a vehicle to that street, they dump litter out the hire vans and offload excess junk. AMK then collect the keys and sign off a nice, clean vehicle. The council are then left to clean up the street, repeatedly.

There is currently heavy litter and a HUGE bag of garden refuse + multiple black bags of same now blocking the pavement at this spot. There are additional flytipped items too.

Given AMK vehicles take up 98% of the parking, this is not drive-by flytipping. This is THEIR clients.

Please clean up this stretch (again), then knock heads with AMK managers on this long-standing, never-ending, council tax payer costing, issue.

Install CCTV? Make AMK clean it up? They are getting rent and rate free use of the street as is, so why not?
