Grass verge next to lamp post outside 460 Crewe Road

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category by Richard Hovey at 13:01, Tue 27 May 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7622631.

When it rains the water from the highways drain bursts out of the ground in the grass verge, also causing flooding to cellar of 460 Crewe Road. The highways drain has been blocked for several years, when rain falls on Wheelock Bank - Crewe Road the water back up into the cellar of 460 Crewe Road and spills out of the verge onto the road. This is (1) causing a hazard to pedestrians, (2) causing the road surface to break up, (3) flooding the cellar of 460 Crewe Road making the house uninhabitable after rain.
