Vehicle hit traffic calming bollards

At approx 10pm last night (26 MAY 2025) a vehicle MF15 BFM (the police were in attendance) crashed straight into the traffic calming coming into the village (Cold Ashby) which has resulted in the vehicle being stranded on top of the ballards. Both bollards have been totally damaged.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 13 days.
