Boundary signage for Rosendale Road School Street zone outside 179 Rosendale Road SE21 8LW just north of Lovelace Road junction. Irrespective of the advance warning sign outside 165A Rosendale Road attached picture shows view of boundary signs at this junction taken in the road at Lovelace Road entry junction. Visibility of the signage is ‘pants’. The nearside sign is directly behind a young tree whose branches are in line with the sign so lopping this tree would be largely futile. I have raised this including Ward Cllrs on the 8th September 2024 ie just after the scheme started but no change. If you can do something to improve visibility that would be great. Locals have reported vehicles suddenly stopping due to poor visibility to read the signs – off side sign is beyond the cycle lane, doing footpath U turns etc. This report is public so if anyone gets rear ended they can easily find this report and the action taken.
