Potholes in line of bike wheels, approx 1m from kerb, cannot avoid as adjacent to ped refuge and junction

  • WSCC advised 'please...report any road or pavement issues directly to West Sussex County Council' and Enquiry Closed: 'the issue does not reach the severity level requiring immediate repair' so no repairs despite that the pothole causes me to lose control of my bike

  • No change in policy from WSCC so no change in the pothole; it still causes me to lose control, but at least I know about it and can take avoiding action, even if that means moving to the centre of the lane.
