Grass on central reservation

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:04, Sat 24 May 2025

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7612204.

The swathe of grass on the central reservation on the dual carriageway opposite the M77 Kilmarnock slip road has not been cut for three years. The grass is almost 2ft high and is a magnet for plastic bottles, cans , plastic bags, take away wrappings and other rubbish. People are just throwing rubbish from their cars whilst stopping at the lights. All other grass on the dual carriageway (Nitshill Road) got cut a few days ago and this was missed again. Absolutely disgraceful. It makes the area look abandoned.
