Pothole/trench in road

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 12:52, Fri 23 May 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7609558.

Long thin trench in roadway. It's situated between the double yellow lines that traverse the cyclist waiting area at the traffic lights, as if travelling south down Russell Street and waiting at the lights before entering the crossroads at Brownlow Hill. The trench is hazardous for cyclists as bike tyres can easily slip into it and get lodged, causing the cyclist to potentially be thrown or fall into traffic.
