We confirm that these lime trees are on the contractor's list of needed yearly works for basal and epicormic growth cutback so that the footway and roadside are clear.
Our contractors are currently removing such regrowth on trees across the Borough as part of their yearly summer program. We cannot give a specific date when they will attend this road.
"Tree Friends" help our Street and Park Tree Team by cutting back and bagging foliage / epicormic growth and placing into purple sacks for our street cleansing crews to collect.

As per our first update, LBB has contacted the private land owner regarding their duties with respects to the vegetation on their land growing into the public highway. Please note, that at present LBB Tree Team will not undertake works on these private trees and that the trees in this area are protected under statutory planning law via a tree protection order.
