Over grown tree

The tree in the school has over grown to a point where it’s branches are almost touching the flats on the opposite side of the road, all it will take is some bad weather and those branches will cause significant damage to property and the vehicles that park there, not asking for the tree to be cut down, just trimmed back slightly?

Unfortunately, as the vegetation is not causing affect to the Highways, Kier on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council do not have any authority to request for the vegetation to be cut back.
