Sent to Waltham Forest Borough Council 3 minutes later
This fence has been damaged and dangerous for well over a year. A section is now strewn across the footpath. Another section is damaged with wires hanging into the footpath.
This fence serves no purpose and would be best removed completely. Illegal activity happens in the immediate vicinity (dealing drugs, underage drinking and smoking, fireworks demonstrations, antisocial behaviour, I have even seen people hiding from police) and it is likely that this would be reduced if the fence were removed.
London Borough of Waltham Forest just emailed me asking whether the fence belongs to the council and I immediately confirmed that it does.

Nothing useful has happened. The council has asked for and I have provided my details so that their system will allow them to do something about this, but nothing useful has happened. They have also asked for information that I supplied initially, which I pointed them towards. 12 email have been exchanged in total, but so far it has been all talk and no action on this simple problem.

Still no action. Despite having inspected the fence and noting the problems, there seems to be a reluctance to do anything about it, and instead they are asking me to jump through unrelated hoops.
Perhaps they could address the obvious problem that they have seen with their own eyes?
