Very poor and dangerous floor surface

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7585439.

There are multiple flooring defects in the play area which are becoming very dangerous for very young children, also the climbing rope net leading to the slide is showing the steel cable and will soon start to fray and will become very dangerous. urgent repairs are needed.

    This has been logged as resolved? I don't think a bit of duck tape wrapped around the bare steel cables is very adequate and will fail in a matter of weeks. Also the flooring surface repairs have been done very poorly with some areas still needing urgent attention before there is a serious accident. I would advise that you send someone to inspect ASAP

  • Thank you for your additional query. Since undertaking the repairs to the safety surfacing, an external operational inspection has been carried out which shows these area as a low risk. This FMS will be closed, however, we will continue to monitor this.
