Flytipping around communal bins not resolved
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 10:55, Fri 16 May 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7578188.
Reported flytipping and overflowing bins earlier this week. Not yet been sorted and in the meantime more waste has appeared and as predicted the rubbish bags have been ripped open spreading waste across the street to the opppdite pavement and back entrance to offices of the Children’s Hospital. Really fed up with this continuing problem that didn’t exist before the communal bins appeared.

It is temporarily fixed but almost within hours more flytipping appears. The biggest issue is that this problem never existed before these communal bins appeared. It also coincides with a number of food businesses opening on Park Row.

These bins are a nightmare. They are constantly accumulating rubbish and fly tipping. An alternative solution needs to be found.
