Vehicles frequently parking on pavement

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:24, Fri 29 January 2016

Sent to Southwark Borough Council 1 minute later

Cars park fully up on the pavement routinely throughout the day and evening most days. Coupled with the frequent fly-tipping, often this makes this pavement completely impassable and forces pedestrians out into the road.

  • Haven't heard anything and cars still parked fully on the pavement there most evenings. It's a case of when, rather than if a pedestrian will be hit by a car because they are forced out into the road to get past. At least this will serve as publicly accessible proof the council were made aware of the problem and did nothing to stop it. That should make a claim for compensation against Southwark much more straight-forward.
