Grass verges along A34 outside Southern Bypass

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7552615.

The grass verge on the right of the exit of Southern Bypass close OX2 0LN is so long you can not see oncoming cars when exiting the close. This is VERY dangerous

Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly.
