First tree on right side of U3014 past dunstan square turning

Reported via desktop in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category by Steven Bagley at 20:06, Fri 9 May 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7547214.

This maple tree is in very poor condition for around a metre above ground level for approx. half its girth. I reported this last summer without any action being taken and fear that a bad winter storm might fetch the tree down. There are communication cables running thro' it's canopy. All I ask is that it is inspected and assessed as to what action may be necessary if any.

  • Why doesn’t someone follow this up with the responsible department? What is the point of leaving a response to the questionaire if it doesn’t get responded to. Come on guys get a grip.
