Overgrown nettles posing a danger to pedestrians, including young children

Reported via mobile anonymously at 17:37, Fri 9 May 2025

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7546764.

There is a large and dense growth of nettles on the public grass area next to house no. 42

The nettles have overgrown significantly onto the pedestrian pathway, creating a serious hazard.

My young child frequently passes through this area, and the overgrown nettles pose a real risk of injury due to their stinging nature. It is extremely unsafe, especially for children and elderly pedestrians who may not notice the hazard in time.

I am deeply concerned about the safety of all residents using this path, and I urge the council to take immediate action to remove the nettles and properly maintain the area.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
