Bus stop outside my bedroom window

Reported anonymously at 14:44, Wed 27 January 2016 using FixMyStreet Professional

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 726947.

A few years ago a bus stop was put outside my property which really didn't bother me but seeing the town is growing and it's getting busy this has become a problem . Firstly the bus stop is between my bedroom window and living room window so anyone standing at the bus stop will be leaning on my windows and can see directly into the property. Secondly it's a busy road as it is but having a double decker bus directly outside my bedroom/living room window throughout the day and evening is ready annoying especially on a weekend when i just want a peaceful moment after a long working week from a stressful job ( i am a nurse). I fear the excessive pollution from the traffic and people smoking outside my bedroom.i now find it difficult to enjoy the freedom and enjoyment of my own flat as i cannot even open my window for a while let alone my curtains as there is someone standing/leaning/peeping through my window. I sometimes have people kick the walls or talk loudly or laughing. There is two more bus stops a few yards from my flat one by bicester village and one opposite the bicester police station which offers the same service. I raised some of these issues initially when the bus stops was proposed but i was reassured i should not in counter any problems. I have tried to ignore this for years but it's getting too much for me so hope you can help me. Looking forward to hearing from you soon
