Sent to West Sussex County Council 4 minutes later

This was reported some time ago but I wasn't able to do a follow up update after some action was taken as I wasn't able to be in the area following heavy rain. I have now seen flooding again under the railway arch, and it makes it very difficult for pedestrians to go under the bridge due to the depth of the water. Bad enough when there is no traffic but any vehicle going through causes waves to make matters even worse for pedestrians on the pavement.

  • The flooding under this bridge is a disgrace. it has been happening for at least the last THREE YEARS cars can just about squeeze thru single file but pedestrians cannot use the foot path. IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE the drains need sucking out and cleaning every year.
