Very faded road lines

Reported via desktop in the General road markings, lines and stud issues category anonymously at 16:37, Wednesday 7 May 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7535841.

The yellow road markings in many areas up and down Middle Street are extremely faded.

Cars parking on the faded lines are making it difficult for larger vehicles to pass, including bin lorries, fire engines and ambulances.

Parking places are also being blocked, so cars speed as they know they won't be able to pass, which also affects safety.

Residents have reported concerns to the residents' committee many times.

Residents have been reporting concerns to GCC since 2023 (!) but no action has been taken and no date has been given for repainting.

However, other streets nearby, including Acre Street and Bowbridge Lane, have been repainted in recent months.

Please could you urgently repaint the faded road markings on Middle Street?
