The noise that the plates make now that the width restriction has been removed is so distracting and it echoes during the night. If this could be locked back in rather than just being replaced would be good

This was reinstalled but not locked in place. It has just been lifted out and place aside. This needs a proper fix. The lock needs to be replaced. Every time a car goes over the plate where the restricter should be, the metallic echo reverberates. Please get this fixed properly or change how the socket that the post is inserted into

As the previous comment states this restrictor has been removed again within 24 hours of reinstallation. This makes a mockery of these being here at all if they are not going to be secured in place. Please remedy this situation as soon as possible.Thank you.

These are currently removed to allow access to Thames Water and allow them to complete some works in Main Road. These are due for completion by the end of this week at which point the width restrictors will be reinstalled. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

These width restrictors have now been removed again for over a week.Thames Water completed their works last weekend so why on earth do local residents have to put up with noise and hazardous road conditions for such an extended period of time? This situation is totally unacceptable.

The issue with the restrictor plate is very much a ongoing issue that never gets fully resolved. Every time they are put back in place, they are not locked in, so therefore leaving them open to once again be removed. The resolve for this can be easily met by getting them locked into place therefore drivers of the larger vehicles cannot remove these and have access to a road that is restricted. These vehicle using this road are dangerous, and causing potential accident, and also there's the matter of the noise of the restrictor plate. Can a team get this issue resolved asap and correctly.
