Broken glass.

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 18:35, Mon 25 January 2016

Sent to East Sussex County Council and Eastbourne Borough Council 5 minutes later

Numerous broken bottles in the underpass will cause major injuries to the many dogs walked along this path. Plus more broken bottles approx another 20 metres further on along the path. It would be nice to think that the yobs responsible for the broken bottles, general litter and graffiti that this underpass constantly suffers from will be caught and prosecuted, but I won't hold my breath waiting for this to happen.

  • Not had a reply on this, which is disappointing; maybe potential injuries to animals are not a high enough priority? Most of the glass has been cleaned up, but there are still numerous small shards that could get lodged in an animals paw. Not sure if it was council workers or a member of the public who cleaned up the broken bottles (I picked up all the largest pieces myself).
