Speed signs damaged both side of the roads. The speed facing both sides of traffic are damaged making it hard to see that you are entering a 30 zone or vice versa national speed limit applies. The signs have been damaged for awhile but still functional but in the past few weeks it's become non visible and likely dangerous.

The sign at this location and others throughout the borough are not identified as urgent defects in accordance with the council’s Code of Practice, which is available on our website via the link below: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/ pdf/ highways/ code-of-practice-for-highway-safety-inspections/ highway-inspection-code-of-practice-april-2021.pdf However, this location will be included into a future rolling programme of sign replacement works and will be prioritised within available budget along with locations of a similar nature. At this present time, we are unable to indicate a timescale for those works, until the necessary funding and resource becomes available.
