Car park markings

Reported via mobile in the Park Repairs category anonymously at 11:25, Sunday 4 May 2025

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7520746.

The lines for the parking bays plus arrows for direction of travel are so faded, they can’t be seen. This is leading to cars parking in the wrong place and no one-way system in place around the car park leading to obstruction and risky driving. Please can they be repainted.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. We are aware of the issues raised in Norman Park regarding pothole and worked with specialist contractors to gather quotes for these and several other locations across the Open Space Portfolio. Following receipt of the quotes, the Council's Property Maintenance team continue to review options for these works inclusion on their ongoing work schedules. We do not currently have details for the timeframe of these works as they need to be considered in relation to budgets and priorities across the wider Bromley Estate, however it will remain on our list of requested tasks to be closely monitored until and after completion. In regards to the line marking, it would not be a cost effective solution to carry out these works until we have had confirmation from the Council's property maintenance department on a decision. Once this decision has been made, we will review the solution of the line marking.
