In the U.K., parking on double yellow lines is generally prohibited at all times, including Sundays, unless there are specific signs indicating otherwise. Double yellow lines indicate that parking is not allowed at any time, and doing so can result in a parking ticket. Unless of course you live in Enfield where apparently you can park wherever you want.
