We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.

We do ask that separate reports for each vehicle are logged to avoid conflicting information or updates. The details reported above have been passed to the relevant team and this report will remain updated regarding the first vehicle registration shown on the original report. Note that subsequent reports must be submitted for the other vehicles. It has been noted that LK09 CPZ is taxed and as such no enforcement can be considered at this point in time.

My point is not so much whether or not the vehicles are taxed but to question the legality of the vehicles being permanently used on the highway as residences. The larger camper van remains parked and used as a camp dwelling, with its small car and motor scooter nearby.
