Hi, i have been advised to contact yourselves as i have emailed our local council, highways and thames water. My concern is that work is being done on a property and plaster, paint and brickdust are being disposed of in the drain opposite. We have asked politely if they could stop but do not take any notice. This has been on going for about a month. Not only are the workmen doing it but the owner as well. I feel this needs to be investigated before it causes major issues and the road need to be dug up. Thank you.

  • Thank you for your report. Two site visits have now been made and contact was attempted with the property in question who is depositing the materials into the drain. Unfortunately there was no answer on both occasions. The gully was inspected and seems to be in working order with minimal debris at the bottom of the chamber and nothing effecting or blocking the access pipes.
