Railway bridge warning height sign missing

Reported via iOS in the Road traffic signs category by Paul Heward at 08:45, Sat 19 April 2025

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7454264.

The railway bridge height warning sign on the South portal of Kingston Lane Shoreham is missing thus causing an increased risk of a bridge strike. Could I also ask that the opportunity is taken when replacing the sign to remove graffiti from both the South and Northern portals. Thank you.

Updates

  • WSCC are not in a hurry to replace this important road sign. Let’s hope it doesn’t result in a bridge strike.
