Numerous potholes that have been previously spray painted but have never been repaired over the years

Reported via mobile in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 10:05, Wednesday 16 April 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7442500.

Large area of holes over a 20 Mtr length have never been successfully repaired this area has been like this state for years and have had at least 40 holes filled in this section of road and is a waste of money to keep repairing it when a resurfaced road will solve the problem once and for all

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

We will provide updates about this report.
