Updates

  • This goes on all the time in that area. Certainly every friday they cause traffic chaos but unfortunately the council tolerate it so as not to offend the muslim community. I was told that by a person parking on a double yellow line who literally said they don't issue tickets here on Friday as they know we are all going to the same place - which I actually think is irrelevant. Sadly, if it were a church rather than a mosque they were parked illegally near they would ticket every single one of them. I know as I have seen it with my own eyes - at a funeral Disgraceful and discriminatory dereliction of duty

  • No. Problem still happens outside every mosque every friday because enforcement knows to keep away from those areas on that day

  • No. hasn't been fixed. They go easy on areas with a certain demographic.

  • Not been fixed. They park wherever they like. Friday is the worst day. Any mosque will have people parked on double yellow lines all the way down the street. They ignore the issue which is causing a danger
