Marking and loss of sign.
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 16:06, Sunday 13 April 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7428698.
The resurfacing of the area at the junction of Oakfield Lane with Commonside was missed during the recent resurfacing of Commonside. The road surface area at the entrance to the lane is is a very poor condition. There are two large pots holes and lots of loose stone. The recent work on the Commonside Road also resulted in the lost of the slow sign marking, which was not reinstated when the new surface was laid. There is also a problem with the VIrgin Media box that is not securely installed and obscures the exit, making it unsafe for drivers when leaving the lane.
Is it possible to meet with a rep from the council and Virgin Media to rsolve the two aformentioned problems.
Regards
Arthur Portelli Chairman Oakfield Lane Residents' Association.
