A tree root has grown into the drain and has made the drain impossible to clear.

Can we please either remove the tree root or install a new drain, the tree should absolutely not be removed. However the root is causing the drain to keep blocked so houses are getting flooded.

This is imperative and has been reported numerous times. Home owners are aware this has been reported so the council will be liable for any future flooding caused by negligence regarding this drain not being fixed.
