Split in pavement which connects to my front wall 12 weeks from 1st report showing more visible wall crack

Documenting the damage that is now clearly visible in my front wall from tree root that has initially split pavement and now breaking through my wall. Pavements team happy to leave for 6 months while my wall continues to crack . A trench dug would reveal cause under split pavement and result in remedial action ie tree root shaving , to stop further damage .
