  • You stated on 2nd June that tree pruning would be carried out within 5 weeks. A few weeks ago on 19th June, a person from the council came to prune the tree and he stated he was there to do a 30% reduction however he could not complete it on that day because of a car parked underneath it. I know this because he knocked on my door. He said he would come back another day but it would definitely be pruned. Now you are saying it isn't scheduled. What is going on here? Why was no attempt made to come back on a different day? Why was the area not blocked off with cones beforehand?

The tree is extremely overgrown, considerably more so than any other on the street, and is very disruptive to anyone using the footpath. In addition it is actively causing damage to my property that is worsening. Please provide me with a direct contact in your environmental planning department so that I can lodge a formal complaint around your tree pruning schedule, and the fact that you promised work to the tree which you then changed your mind on when it was unable to go ahead initially.
