Fence destroyed
Reported via desktop in the Overhanging Vegetation from private land category anonymously at 20:03, Monday 31 March 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7367060.
Thank you very much for coming so quickly and removing the vegetation that was encroaching over my land and destroying fence. As you can see from photo the vegetation has been cut back but my fence was no longer salvageable and the workmen took it away leaving me without a fence. Do you replace the fence.

Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we acknowledge that the vegetation had overgrown so was cut back, the Council maintains that the vegetation in and of itself did not explicitly cause an issue to the fence, which we understand had already rotted. The Council does not believe that the fence in question is our responsibility to maintain, and will not in this instance be looking to replace it.
