This depression is at the site of a previous sink hole a few years back. Someone has reported it as a pothole and it has been marked up for repair BUT putting more tarmac here will not solve the problem long term as it looks like the ground is subsiding again. It is not a pot hole, it is potentially the site of another sinkhole re-curring. The depression in the road has gradually been worsening over the last few months( and I'm sure after the sink hole appeared and had been "sorted" a depression occurred at the same point and was filled in with tarmac which is why I'm concerned that the sinkhole is still an issue)
